Analysis techniques like life cycle assessment, techno-economic analysis, and supply chain analysis can help us understand how new technologies or products will affect people, the planet, and the economy. I apply these tools to plastic recycling, chemical manufacturing, and much more to understand how we can make innovations more sustainable, resilient, and viable. Much of my work also involves translating this analysis toolkit into one that can guide design decisions at the earliest stages of technology development, helping to make research greener, faster.
